In jener Zeit verlachten die führenden Männer des Volkes Jesus und sagten: Anderen hat er geholfen, nun soll er sich selbst helfen, wenn er der erwählte Messias Gottes ist.
And the people were looking on. And the rulers made sport of him, saying, He was a saviour of others; let him do something for himself, if he is the Christ, the man of God's selection.
Quân lính đều chế diễu Người và đưa dấm cho Người uống
Auch die Soldaten verspotteten ihn; sie traten vor ihn hin, reichten ihm Essig
And the men of the army made sport of him, coming to him and giving him bitter wine,
và nói: "Nếu ông là vua dân Do-thái, ông hãy tự cứu mình đi".
und sagten: Wenn du der König der Juden bist, dann hilf dir selbst!
And saying, If you are the King of the Jews, get yourself free.
Phía trên đầu Người có tấm bảng đề chữ Hy-lạp, La-tinh và Do-thái như sau: "Người Này Là Vua Dân Do Thái".
Über ihm war eine Tafel angebracht; auf ihr stand: Das ist der König der Juden.
And these words were put in writing over him, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Một trong hai kẻ trộm bị đóng đinh trên thập giá cũng sỉ nhục Người rằng: "Nếu ông là Ðấng Kitô, ông hãy tự cứu ông và cứu chúng tôi nữa".
Einer der Verbrecher, die neben ihm hingen, verhöhnte ihn: Bist du denn nicht der Messias? Dann hilf dir selbst und auch uns!
And one of the evil-doers on the cross, with bitter feeling, said to him, Are you not the Christ? Get yourself and us out of this.
Ðối lại, tên kia mắng nó rằng: "Mi cũng chịu đồng một án mà mi chẳng sợ Thiên Chúa sao?
Der andere aber wies ihn zurecht und sagte: Nicht einmal du fürchtest Gott? Dich hat doch das gleiche Urteil getroffen.
But the other, protesting, said, Have you no fear of God? for you have a part in the same punishment,
Phần chúng ta, như thế này là đích đáng, vì chúng ta chịu xứng với việc chúng ta đã làm, còn ông này, ông có làm gì xấu đâu?"
Uns geschieht recht, wir erhalten den Lohn für unsere Taten; dieser aber hat nichts Unrechtes getan.
And with reason; for we have the right reward of our acts, but this man has done nothing wrong.
Và anh ta thưa Chúa Giêsu rằng: "Lạy Ngài, khi nào về nước Ngài, xin nhớ đến tôi".
Dann sagte er: Jesus, denk an mich, wenn du in dein Reich kommst.
And he said, Jesus, keep me in mind when you come in your kingdom.
Chúa Giêsu đáp: "Ta bảo thật ngươi: ngay hôm nay, ngươi sẽ ở trên thiên đàng với Ta".
Jesus antwortete ihm: Amen, ich sage dir: Heute noch wirst du mit mir im Paradies sein.
And he said to him, Truly I say to you, Today you will be with me in Paradise.
