In jener Zeit sprach Jesus zu seinen Jüngern: Wie es in den Tagen des Noach war, so wird es bei der Ankunft des Menschensohnes sein.

At that time, Jesus spoke to his disciples : And as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.

 

Cũng như trong những ngày trước đại hồng thuỷ, người ta ăn uống, dựng vợ gả chồng, mãi đến chính ngày ông Noe vào tàu

Wie die Menschen in den Tagen vor der Flut aßen und tranken und heirateten, bis zu dem Tag, an dem Noach in die Arche ging,

Because as in those days before the overflowing of the waters, they were feasting and taking wives and getting married, till the day when Noah went into the ark,

 

mà người ta cũng không ngờ, thình lình đại hồng thuỷ đến và cuốn đi tất cả, thì khi Con Người đến, cũng sẽ xảy ra như vậy.

und nichts ahnten, bis die Flut hereinbrach und alle wegraffte, so wird es auch bei der Ankunft des Menschensohnes sein.

And they had no care till the waters came and took them all away; so will be the coming of the Son of man.

 

   Khi ấy sẽ có hai người đàn ông đang ở ngoài đồng, một người được tiếp nhận, một người bị bỏ rơi.

Dann wird von zwei Männern, die auf dem Feld arbeiten, einer mitgenommen und einer zurückgelassen.

Then two men will be in the field; one is taken, and one let go;

  

Và có hai người đàn bà đang xay bột, một người được tiếp nhận, còn người kia bị bỏ rơi.

Und von zwei Frauen, die mit derselben Mühle mahlen, wird eine mitgenommen und eine zurückgelassen.

Two women will be crushing grain; one is taken, and one let go.

  

Vậy hãy tỉnh thức, vì không biết giờ nào Chúa các con sẽ đến.

Seid also wachsam! Denn ihr wisst nicht, an welchem Tag euer Herr kommt.

Be watching, then! for you have no knowledge on what day your Lord will come.

  

Nhưng các con phải biết điều này, là nếu chủ nhà biết giờ nào kẻ trộm đến, hẳn ông ta sẽ canh phòng, không để cho đào ngạch khoét vách nhà mình.

Bedenkt: Wenn der Herr des Hauses wüsste, zu welcher Stunde in der Nacht der Dieb kommt, würde er wach bleiben und nicht zulassen, dass man in sein Haus einbricht.

But be certain of this, that if the master of the house had had knowledge of the time when the thief was coming, he would have been watching, and would not have let his house be broken into.

  

Vậy các con cũng phải sẵn sàng, vì lúc các con không ngờ, Con Người sẽ đến.

Darum seid ihr auch bereit; denn des Menschen Sohn wird kommen zu einer Stunde, da ihr's nicht meinet.

Be ready then; for at a time which you have no thought of the Son of man will come.
