Gospel to Matthew 22,1-14
Khi ấy, Đức Giê-su lại dùng dụ ngôn mà nói với họ rằng:
In jener Zeit erzählte Jesus den Hohepriestern und den Ältesten des Volkes das folgende Gleichnis:
At that time, Jesus talking to them again in stories, said:
"Nước Trời cũng giống như chuyện một vua kia mở tiệc cưới cho con mình.
Mit dem Himmelreich ist es wie mit einem König, der seinem Sohn die Hochzeit ausrichtete.
The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king, who made a feast when his son was married,
Nhà vua sai đầy tớ đi thỉnh các quan khách đã được mời trước, xin họ đến dự tiệc, nhưng họ không chịu đến.
Er schickte seine Diener, um die eingeladenen Gäste zur Hochzeit rufen zu lassen. Sie aber wollten nicht kommen.
And sent out his servants to get in the guests to the feast: and they would not come.
Nhà vua lại sai những đầy tớ khác đi, và dặn họ: "Hãy thưa với quan khách đã được mời rằng: Này cỗ bàn, ta đã dọn xong, bò tơ và thú béo đã hạ rồi, mọi sự đã sẵn. Mời quý vị đến dự tiệc cưới! "
Da schickte er noch einmal Diener und trug ihnen auf: Sagt den Eingeladenen: Siehe, mein Mahl ist fertig,meine Ochsen und das Mastvieh sind geschlachtet, alles ist bereit. Kommt zur Hochzeit!
Again he sent out other servants, with orders to say to the guests, See, I have made ready my feast: my oxen and my fat beasts have been put to death, and all things are ready: come to the feast.
Nhưng quan khách không thèm đếm xỉa tới, lại bỏ đi: kẻ thì đi thăm trại, người thì đi buôn,
Sie aber kümmerten sich nicht darum, sondern der eine ging auf seinen Acker, der andere in seinen Laden,
But they gave no attention, and went about their business, one to his farm, another to his trade:
còn những kẻ khác lại bắt các đầy tớ của vua mà sỉ nhục và giết chế
wieder andere fielen über seine Diener her, misshandelten sie und brachten sie um.
And the rest put violent hands on his servants, and did evil to them, and put them to death.
Nhà vua liền nổi cơn thịnh nộ, sai quân đi tru diệt bọn sát nhân ấy và thiêu huỷ thành phố của chúng.
Da wurde der König zornig; er schickte sein Heer, ließ die Mörder töten und ihre Stadt in Schutt und Asche legen.
But the king was angry; and he sent his armies, and those who had put his servants to death he gave to destruction, burning down their town with fire.
Rồi nhà vua bảo đầy tớ: "Tiệc cưới đã sẵn sàng rồi, mà những kẻ đã được mời lại không xứng đáng.
Dann sagte er zu seinen Dienern: Das Hochzeitsmahl ist vorbereitet, aber die Gäste waren nicht würdig.
Then he said to his servants, The feast is ready but the guests were not good enough.
Vậy các ngươi đi ra các ngã đường, gặp ai cũng mời hết vào tiệc cưới."
Geht also an die Kreuzungen der Straßen und ladet alle, die ihr trefft, zur Hochzeit ein!
Go then to the cross-roads, and get all those whom you see to come to the bride-feast.
Đầy tớ liền đi ra các nẻo đường, gặp ai, bất luận xấu tốt, cũng tập hợp cả lại, nên phòng tiệc cưới đã đầy thực khách.
Die Diener gingen auf die Straßen hinaus und holten alle zusammen, die sie trafen, Böse und Gute, und der Festsaal füllte sich mit Gästen.
And those servants went out into the streets, and got together all those whom they came across, bad and good: and the feast was full of guests.
"Bấy giờ nhà vua tiến vào quan sát khách dự tiệc, thấy ở đó có một người không mặc y phục lễ cưới,
Als der König eintrat, um sich die Gäste anzusehen, bemerkte er unter ihnen einen Menschen, der kein Hochzeitsgewand anhatte.
But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a guest's robe;
mới hỏi người ấy: "Này bạn, làm sao bạn vào đây mà lại không có y phục lễ cưới? " Người ấy câm miệng không nói được gì.
Er sagte zu ihm: Freund, wie bist du hier ohne Hochzeitsgewand hereingekommen? Der aber blieb stumm.
And he says to him, Friend, how came you in here not having a guest's robe? And he had nothing to say.
Nhà vua liền bảo những người phục dịch: "Trói chân tay nó lại, quăng nó ra chỗ tối tăm bên ngoài, ở đó người ta sẽ phải khóc lóc nghiến răng!
Da befahl der König seinen Dienern: Bindet ihm Hände und Füße und werft ihn hinaus in die äußerste Finsternis!
Dort wird Heulen und Zähneknirschen sein.
Then the king said to the servants, Put cords round his hands and feet and put him out into the dark; there will be weeping and cries of sorrow.
Vì kẻ được gọi thì nhiều, mà người được chọn thì ít."
Denn viele sind gerufen, wenige aber auserwählt.
For out of all to whom the good news has come, only a small number will get salvation.
