Evangelium nach Marcus 13,33-37

Gospel to Marco 13, 33-37

 

Khi ấy Chúa Giêsu nói với các môn đệ rằng :Anh em phải coi chừng, phải tỉnh thức, vì anh em không biết khi nào thời ấy đến.

In jener Zeit, sprach Jesus zu seinen Jüngern: Seht euch also vor, und bleibt wach! Denn ihr wisst nicht, wann die Zeit da ist.

At that time said Jesus to his disciples :Take care, keep watch with prayer: for you are not certain when the time will be.

 

Cũng như người kia trẩy phương xa, để nhà lại, trao quyền cho các đầy tớ của mình, chỉ định cho mỗi người một việc, và ra lệnh cho người giữ cửa phải canh thức.

Es ist wie mit einem Mann, der sein Haus verließ, um auf Reisen zu gehen: Er übertrug alle Verantwortung seinen Dienern, jedem eine bestimmte Aufgabe; dem Türhüter befahl er, wachsam zu sein.

It is as when a man who is in another country for a time, having gone away from his house, and given authority to his servants and to everyone his work, gives the porter an order to keep watch.

 

Vậy anh em phải canh thức, vì anh em không biết khi nào chủ nhà đến: Lúc chập tối hay nửa đêm, lúc gà gáy hay tảng sáng.

Seid also wachsam! Denn ihr wisst nicht, wann der Hausherr kommt, ob am Abend oder um Mitternacht, ob beim Hahnenschrei oder erst am Morgen.

So you are to keep watch: because you are not certain when the master of the house is coming, in the evening, or in the middle of the night, or at the cock's cry, or in the morning;

 

Anh em phải canh thức, kẻo lỡ ra ông chủ đến bất thần, bắt gặp anh em đang ngủ.

Er soll euch, wenn er plötzlich kommt, nicht schlafend antreffen.

For fear that, coming suddenly, he sees you sleeping.

 

Điều Thầy nói với anh em đây, Thầy cũng nói với hết thảy mọi người là: phải canh thức!

Was ich aber euch sage, das sage ich allen: Seid wachsam!

And what I say to you, I say to all, Keep watch.
