20 Con không chỉ cầu nguyện cho những người này, nhưng còn cho những ai nhờ lời họ mà tin vào con,
In jener Zeit erhob Jesus seine Augen zum Himmel und betete: Heiliger Vater, ich bitte nicht nur für diese hier, sondern auch für alle, die durch ihr Wort an mich glauben.
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
21 để tất cả nên một, như Cha ở trong con và con ở trong Cha để họ cũng ở trong chúng ta. Như vậy, thế gian sẽ tin rằng Cha đã sai con.
Alle sollen eins sein: Wie du, Vater, in mir bist und ich in dir bin, sollen auch sie in uns sein, damit die Welt glaubt, dass du mich gesandt hast.
that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
22 Phần con, con đã ban cho họ vinh quang mà Cha đã ban cho con, để họ được nên một như chúng ta là một:
Und ich habe ihnen die Herrlichkeit gegeben, die du mir gegeben hast, damit sie eins sind, wie wir eins sind,
I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one
23 Con ở trong họ và Cha ở trong con, để họ được hoàn toàn nên một; như vậy, thế gian sẽ nhận biết là chính Cha đã sai con và đã yêu thương họ như đã yêu thương con.
ich in ihnen und du in mir. So sollen sie vollendet sein in der Einheit, damit die Welt erkennt, dass du mich gesandt hast und sie ebenso geliebt hast, wie du mich geliebt hast.
I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
24 Lạy Cha, con muốn rằng con ở đâu, thì những người Cha đã ban cho con cũng ở đó với con, để họ chiêm ngưỡng vinh quang của con, vinh quang mà Cha đã ban cho con, vì Cha đã yêu thương con trước khi thế gian được tạo thành.
Vater, ich will, dass alle, die du mir gegeben hast, dort bei mir sind, wo ich bin. Sie sollen meine Herrlichkeit sehen, die du mir gegeben hast, weil du mich schon geliebt hast vor Grundlegung der Welt.
“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
25 Lạy Cha là Đấng công chính, thế gian đã không biết Cha, nhưng con, con đã biết Cha, và những người này đã biết là chính Cha đã sai con.
Gerechter Vater, die Welt hat dich nicht erkannt, ich aber habe dich erkannt und sie haben erkannt, dass du mich gesandt hast.
“Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.
26 Con đã cho họ biết danh Cha, và sẽ còn cho họ biết nữa, để tình Cha đã yêu thương con, ở trong họ, và con cũng ở trong họ nữa.”
Ich habe ihnen deinen Namen kundgetan und werde ihn kundtun, damit die Liebe, mit der du mich geliebt hast, in ihnen ist und ich in ihnen bin.
I have made you[a] known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”
