Người Do-thái liền xầm xì phản đối, bởi vì Đức Giê-su đã nói: “Tôi là bánh từ trời xuống.”
In jener Zeit murrten die Juden gegen Jesus, weil er gesagt hatte: Ich bin das Brot, das vom Himmel herabgekommen ist.
Now the Jews said bitter things about Jesus because of his words, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
Họ nói: “Ông này chẳng phải là ông Giê-su, con ông Giu-se đó sao? Cha mẹ ông ta, chúng ta đều biết cả, sao bây giờ ông ta lại nói: “Tôi từ trời xuống?”
Und sie sagten: Ist das nicht Jesus, der Sohn Josefs, dessen Vater und Mutter wir kennen? Wie kann er jetzt sagen: Ich bin vom Himmel herabgekommen?
And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we have seen? How is it then that he now says, I have come down from heaven?
Đức Giê-su bảo họ: “Các ông đừng có xầm xì với nhau!
Jesus sagte zu ihnen: Murrt nicht!
Jesus made answer and said, Do not say things against me, one to another.
Chẳng ai đến với tôi được, nếu Chúa Cha là Đấng đã sai tôi, không lôi kéo người ấy, và tôi, tôi sẽ cho người ấy sống lại trong ngày sau hết.
Niemand kann zu mir kommen, wenn nicht der Vater, der mich gesandt hat, ihn zu mir führt; und ich werde ihn auferwecken am Letzten Tag.
No man is able to come to me if the Father who sent me does not give him the desire to come: and I will take him up from the dead on the last day.
Xưa có lời chép trong sách các ngôn sứ: Hết mọi người sẽ được Thiên Chúa dạy dỗ. Vậy phàm ai nghe và đón nhận giáo huấn của Chúa Cha, thì sẽ đến với tôi.
Bei den Propheten heißt es: Und alle werden Schüler Gottes sein. Jeder, der auf den Vater hört und seine Lehre annimmt, wird zu mir kommen.
The writings of the prophets say, And they will all have teaching from God. Everyone whose ears have been open to the teaching of the Father comes to me.
Không phải là đã có ai thấy Chúa Cha đâu, nhưng chỉ có Đấng từ nơi Thiên Chúa mà đến, chính Đấng ấy đã thấy Chúa Cha.
Niemand hat den Vater gesehen außer dem, der von Gott ist; nur er hat den Vater gesehen.
Not that anyone has ever seen the Father; only he who is from God, he has seen the Father.
Thật, tôi bảo thật các ông, ai tin thì được sự sống đời đời.
Amen, amen, ich sage euch: Wer glaubt, hat das ewige Leben.
Truly I say to you, He who has faith in me has eternal life.
Tôi là bánh trường sinh.
Ich bin das Brot des Lebens.
I am the bread of life.
Tổ tiên các ông đã ăn man-na trong sa mạc, nhưng đã chết.
Eure Väter haben in der Wüste das Manna gegessen und sind gestorben.
Your fathers took the manna in the waste land--and they are dead.
Còn bánh này là bánh từ trời xuống, để ai ăn thì khỏi phải chết.
So aber ist es mit dem Brot, das vom Himmel herabkommt: Wenn jemand davon isst, wird er nicht sterben.
The bread which comes from heaven is such bread that a man may take it for food and never see death.
Tôi là bánh hằng sống từ trời xuống. Ai ăn bánh này, sẽ được sống muôn đời. Và bánh tôi sẽ ban tặng, chính là thịt tôi đây, để cho thế gian được sống.”
Ich bin das lebendige Brot, das vom Himmel herabgekommen ist. Wer von diesem Brot isst, wird in Ewigkeit leben. Das Brot, das ich geben werde, ist mein Fleisch, ich gebe es hin für das Leben der Welt.
I am the living bread which has come from heaven: if any man takes this bread for food he will have life for ever: and more than this, the bread which I will give is my flesh which I will give for the life of the world.
