Gospel to Luke 5, 1-11
1 Một hôm, Đức Giê-su đang đứng ở bờ hồ Ghen-nê-xa-rét, dân chúng chen lấn nhau đến gần Người để nghe lời Thiên Chúa.
In jener Zeit, als Jesus am Ufer des Sees Gennesaret stand, drängte sich das Volk um ihn und wollte das Wort Gottes hören.
One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret,[a] the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God.
2 Người thấy hai chiếc thuyền đậu dọc bờ hồ, còn những người đánh cá thì đã ra khỏi thuyền và đang giặt lưới.
Da sah er zwei Boote am Ufer liegen. Die Fischer waren ausgestiegen und wuschen ihre Netze.
He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets.
3 Đức Giê-su xuống một chiếc thuyền, thuyền đó của ông Si-môn, và Người xin ông chèo thuyền ra xa bờ một chút. Rồi Người ngồi xuống, và từ trên thuyền Người giảng dạy đám đông.
Jesus stieg in das Boot, das dem Simon gehörte, und bat ihn, ein Stück weit vom Land wegzufahren. Dann setzte er sich und lehrte das Volk vom Boot aus.
He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
4 Giảng xong, Người bảo ông Si-môn: “Chèo ra chỗ nước sâu mà thả lưới bắt cá.”
Als er seine Rede beendet hatte, sagte er zu Simon: Fahr hinaus auf den See! Dort werft eure Netze zum Fang aus!
When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”
5 Ông Si-môn đáp: “Thưa Thầy, chúng tôi đã vất vả suốt đêm mà không bắt được gì cả. Nhưng vâng lời Thầy, tôi sẽ thả lưới.”
Simon antwortete ihm: Meister, wir haben die ganze Nacht gearbeitet und nichts gefangen. Doch wenn du es sagst, werde ich die Netze auswerfen.
Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
6 Họ đã làm như vậy, và bắt được rất nhiều cá, đến nỗi hầu như rách cả lưới.
Das taten sie, und sie fingen eine so große Menge Fische, dass ihre Netze zu reißen drohten.
When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.
7 Họ làm hiệu cho các bạn chài trên chiếc thuyền kia đến giúp. Những người này tới, và họ đã đổ lên được hai thuyền đầy cá, đến gần chìm.
Deshalb winkten sie ihren Gefährten im anderen Boot, sie sollten kommen und ihnen helfen. Sie kamen, und gemeinsam füllten sie beide Boote bis zum Rand, so dass sie fast untergingen.
So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
8 Thấy vậy, ông Si-môn Phê-rô sấp mặt dưới chân Đức Giê-su và nói: “Lạy Chúa, xin tránh xa con, vì con là kẻ tội lỗi!”
Als Simon Petrus das sah, fiel er Jesus zu Füßen und sagte: Herr, geh weg von mir; ich bin ein Sünder.
When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!”
9 Quả vậy, thấy mẻ cá vừa bắt được, ông Si-môn và tất cả những người có mặt ở đó với ông đều kinh ngạc.
Denn er und alle seine Begleiter waren erstaunt und erschrocken, weil sie so viele Fische gefangen hatten;
For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken,
10 Cả hai người con ông Dê-bê-đê, là Gia-cô-bê và Gio-an, bạn chài với ông Si-môn, cũng kinh ngạc như vậy. Bấy giờ, Đức Giê-su bảo ông Si-môn: “Đừng sợ, từ nay anh sẽ là người thu phục người ta.”
ebenso ging es Jakobus und Johannes, den Söhnen des Zebedäus, die mit Simon zusammenarbeiteten. Da sagte Jesus zu Simon: Fürchte dich nicht! Von jetzt an wirst du Menschen fangen.
and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.”
11 Thế là họ đưa thuyền vào bờ, rồi bỏ hết mọi sự mà theo Người.
Und sie zogen die Boote an Land, ließen alles zurück und folgten ihm nach.
So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.
